Mahindra BE 07 electric SUV expected to debut in India by late 2026

Mahindra is testing two new models slated for a late‑2026 launch: the Vision S sub‑4 metre SUV built on the new NU‑IQ platform and the BE 07, the second vehicle under the company’s premium BE sub‑brand. The BE 07, which shares the INGLO EV platform with the BE 6, is pictured in near‑production form with a Range‑Rover‑style sloping roofline, frameless doors, motorised flush door handles and large blacked‑out alloy wheels. Spy images show production‑grade headlamps already fitted while rear lighting is still being finalised.

The electric SUV is expected to use 59 kWh or 79 kWh battery packs, offering a claimed range of over 500 km on a full charge. Mahindra is likely to equip the BE 07 with Level‑2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, 360° camera, ventilated front seats, dual‑screen dash, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, six airbags and fast‑charging Type‑C ports. Pricing could start around ₹25 lakh, with a major announcement anticipated on 15 August.
