Mahindra launches BE6 Sporteq electric SUV in India

Mahindra has launched the BE6 Sporteq electric SUV in the Indian market. The vehicle is priced starting at ₹11.45 lakh with Battery as a Service (BaaS), or ₹19.45 lakh without BaaS (ex-showroom).

The Sporteq range includes several special editions, such as the Launch Edition, BE6 Sporteq Four, Formula E Edition, and Batman Edition. A Freedom Edition is also available in a specific orange paint scheme. The SUV is offered in 12 color options, including new shades like Rosso Impulso, Ruby Velvet, Graphite Storm, and Firestorm Orange Satin.

Key technical and interior updates include a three-screen setup in the Launch Edition, which features a dedicated display for the front passenger capable of supporting gaming and karaoke. The vehicle utilizes 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, with the 79kWh variant claiming a MIDC range of up to 682km. The powertrain delivers up to 286hp and 380Nm of torque via a rear-mounted motor. Advanced software features include TEQ_Me for driver profile recognition, Gemini integration for TEQ_Talk, and the ability to display custom messages via the rear lights on the tailgate.
