Mahindra launches XUV 3XO ZNG CNG SUV in India

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched the XUV 3XO ZNG, its first mainstream CNG passenger vehicle, in India. The SUV is priced starting at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with higher variants reaching up to ₹12.27 lakh.

The vehicle features a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine producing 82 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque in both CNG and petrol modes. It utilizes a first-in-segment 10-bar CNG injection pressure system and a twin-cylinder arrangement designed to maintain usable boot space. The manufacturer claims a certified efficiency of 24.7 km/kg.

Key features across the range include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and safety specifications such as six airbags, ESC, and ISOFIX. The ZNG model also offers amenities like a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and multiple driving modes.
