Mahindra launches XUV 3XO ZNG CNG SUV in India
Mahindra has entered the Indian CNG passenger vehicle market with the launch of its first CNG-powered SUV, the XUV 3XO ZNG. The model is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 12.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
The XUV 3XO ZNG features a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine that produces 200 Nm of torque in both petrol and CNG modes. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.7 km/kg and utilizes an underfloor twin-cylinder arrangement to provide 270 litres of boot space.
The vehicle competes directly with other CNG models in the Indian market, including the Tata Nexon iCNG, which offers 321 litres of boot space, and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG. The Brezza CNG is priced lower, starting at Rs 9.40 lakh, and produces 88 hp and 121.5 Nm of torque in CNG mode.
