Mahindra raises prices of Thar and XUV3XO SUVs in India

Mahindra announced a July 2026 price increase for its two flagship SUVs, the Thar and the XUV3XO. Prices rose by up to 2.7%, with the Thar costing as much as Rs 37,000 more and the XUV3XO up to Rs 30,000 more, depending on the trim. The hike marks the third increase for the Thar this year, following adjustments in January and April. The company attributes the changes to higher production costs. For the Thar, the base AXT 2WD diesel now starts at Rs 10.32 lakh, while top‑spec LXT 4WD diesel reaches Rs 17.99 lakh. The XUV3XO’s petrol variants see hikes ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 30,000, with the AX5 MT now priced at Rs 10.29 lakh and the AX7 Luxury dual‑tone at Rs 15.05 lakh. Other Indian manufacturers such as Honda, Kia, JSW MG Motor and Toyota have also announced price adjustments in July.
