Mahindra Thar facelift to feature new grille, LED headlights and upgraded interior
Mahindra has unveiled a test version of the upcoming Thar facelift, showing a refreshed front end with a new grille styled after the Thar Rox and updated LED headlamps with integrated DRLs. The redesign also includes a revised bumper and modernised styling cues.
Inside, the facelift is expected to add a larger touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360‑degree camera, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and ventilated seats. Safety features such as airbags, ABS, ESP, TPMS and rear‑view camera are retained, while powertrain options will stay unchanged.
The model is slated for launch in the coming months, likely around the festive season of 2026. Pricing is projected to rise by ₹20,000‑₹50,000 over the current Thar 3‑door version, which is priced between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹17.99 lakh. The updated Thar will continue to compete with rivals such as the Force Gurkha.
