Mahindra to launch updated 3-door Thar SUV on September 22

Mahindra has officially teased the facelift of its 3-door Thar SUV, with a launch and drive event scheduled to take place in Jodhpur from September 22 to 24. The update is expected to be more substantial than previous refreshes, drawing significant design and feature inspiration from the larger Thar Roxx model.

Key aesthetic changes are anticipated at the front, including a redesigned grille, projector LED headlamps with C-shaped DRLs, and a revised bumper. The vehicle may also feature new alloy wheels and updated LED tail-lamps. While the signature boxy silhouette and spare-wheel-mounted tailgate are expected to remain, the cabin is likely to receive upgrades such as a revised centre console and potential new features like a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and a 360-degree camera.

The current engine lineup, consisting of 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and various diesel options, is expected to continue for the updated model.
