Mahindra unveils Scorpio Lifestyler global pickup truck

Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler, a new-generation global lifestyle pickup truck designed to succeed the Scorpio Getaway. Scheduled for an Indian launch by April 2027, the vehicle is expected to feature petrol and diesel powertrains with both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. The pickup aims to combine SUV-like comfort with a one-tonne carrying capacity and serious towing capabilities.

Ex-showroom pricing for the Lifestyler is expected to start at ₹19.79 lakh, with top-tier specifications potentially reaching the ₹30–32 lakh range.

Pratap Bose, Mahindra’s Executive Vice President and Chief Design Officer, indicated that design elements from the Lifestyler will influence the Scorpio-N and other future models within the Scorpio family. While specific details were not confirmed, the move suggests a push toward a more cohesive visual identity across the brand’s Scorpio lineup.
