Mahindra unveils Scorpio Lifestyler midsize pickup truck

Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler, a new midsize double-cab pickup truck based on the ladder-frame platform of the Scorpio-N SUV. The vehicle is expected to launch in India by April 2027, with planned expansions into international markets including South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Latin America, and potentially Brazil.

The Lifestyler was revealed in three distinct versions: the Valley Edition, Reef Edition, and Trail Edition. While technical specifications remain largely unconfirmed, the vehicle is expected to utilize a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine similar to the Scorpio-N. The design features a unique body with LED lighting and a modern aesthetic intended for global markets.

Separately, the 2026 updated Scorpio-N continues to utilize a body-on-frame architecture developed in collaboration with Pininfarina. The Scorpio brand remains a significant part of Mahindra's portfolio, with the Scorpio-N having sold over 3.80 lakh units.
