Mahindra unveils Scorpio Lifestyler pickup truck for 2027 launch

Mahindra has unveiled the production-ready Scorpio Lifestyler, a new lifestyle pickup truck based on the ‘Global Pik Up Concept’. The vehicle is designed to bridge the gap between a rugged SUV and a practical pickup, intended to replace the older Scorpio Getaway.

Manufactured in India, the Lifestyler is slated for a market launch in 2027, with plans to enter India and select global markets, including Australia. In India, the starting price is expected to be under ₹19.79 lakh. The vehicle will be offered in three distinct variants: the Reef Edition for lifestyle enthusiasts, the Trail Edition for off-roaders, and the Valley Edition as a workhorse.

Technical specifications include a 2.2-liter mHawk Turbo Diesel engine producing approximately 450 Nm of torque. The pickup features a next-generation ladder-frame chassis, a 4WD system with multiple driving modes (Normal, Snow, Mud, Sand, Ruts), and a rear leaf spring suspension for durability. The interior is equipped with a large vertical touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and an electronic parking brake.
