Malatang specialty restaurants expand with new openings in Saitama and Kagawa
New Malatang specialty restaurants are expanding in Japan. Oshin Malatang has opened a new location in Kasumigaseki, Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, near Kasumigaseki Station. The shop offers a customizable dining experience where customers select ingredients for 400 yen per 100 grams, with soup options including medicinal Malatang, rich tomato, and medicinal white soup.
Additionally, TPS is bringing the Fuuen Malatang brand to Kagawa Prefecture for the first time. A new branch is scheduled to open at the Aeon Mall Takamatsu food court on September 30, 2026. The establishment will feature approximately 50 types of ingredients, allowing customers to create personalized bowls with three main styles: standard Malatang, tomato Malatang, and sauce-less Malatang. The brand is currently expanding nationwide with a goal of reaching 100 locations.
