Dominican companies expand international and domestic business footprints

Several Dominican business developments have been reported. Banco BHD has inaugurated the fourth edition of the New York City Real Estate Fair at The Armory Arena. The event, running from September 11 to 13, 2026, connects Dominican residents in the United States with property opportunities in the Dominican Republic, providing financial guidance and showcasing projects from over twenty construction and real estate companies.

In the construction sector, the Dominican firm Malespín Constructora has been appointed to execute the civil works for the new San Miguelito urban cable car project in Panama. This $255 million project, led by the Austrian firm Doppelmayr, includes the construction of foundations, stations, and support towers for a 6.6-kilometer route.

Additionally, Novo Homes Realty has officially launched in the Dominican Republic. Led by Richard Quezada and Genovi Sánchez Popoteur, the firm aims to compete in the national and international real estate markets through professionalized investment and acquisition services.
