Malian Armed Forces intensify Operation Dougoukoloko strikes

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) are conducting extensive operations to secure and reclaim national territory under Operation Dougoukoloko. Recent military actions have targeted terrorist groups across multiple regions, including the North-East, West, and South.

In the North-East, tactical intelligence enabled aerial strikes near Ouartedjach, east of Aguelhoc, destroying eight major logistics sites and neutralizing at least 45 combatants. Supported by Africa Corps, combined actions have also struck terrorist supply chains in the Gao, Ménaka, and Aguelhoc sectors. In the Diéma region, strikes targeted groups of motorcyclists near Kirya, while reconnaissance missions in the Bandiagara region successfully neutralized individuals hiding in a vehicle.

Alongside military offensives, institutional shifts are occurring. Recent prisoner exchanges took place near the Mali-Niger border and Anéfis. Additionally, 37 former combatants were officially integrated into the FAMa at the Anéfis military camp. General Ismaël Wagué, Minister of Reconciliation, Peace and National Cohesion, stated that the Republic remains open to citizens who choose to lay down their arms.
