Mallplaza Trébol launches free wood stove replacement program

Mallplaza Trébol has launched a free wood stove replacement program in the Concepción Metropolitan area of the Biobío Region. The initiative aims to mitigate over 6,000 tons of particulate matter annually by replacing traditional wood heaters with high-efficiency electric climate control systems.

In collaboration with Enel, the program will provide and install 159 high-efficiency energy units at no cost to participating families. This public-private partnership is part of the regional Atmospheric Decontamination Plan and seeks to reduce both outdoor air pollution and indoor domestic contamination.
