Maltese film “Zejtune” screens in Split as Serbian drama “3 Weeks After” readies world premiere

The Maltese feature Zejtune, directed by Alex Camilleri, won the audience award at the 19th Mediterranean Film Festival in Split and will be shown at the Split Summer Cinema Bačvice on 4 July, with further screenings scheduled across Dalmatia. The story follows a young woman confronting family ties after her mother’s death.

Serbian director Miroslav Terzić’s drama 3 Weeks After has released its official trailer and poster ahead of its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on 7 July. Inspired by real events, the film follows a group of high‑school students dealing with responsibility and collective guilt after a tragic loss. It will debut domestically in Serbia in the autumn, distributed by MegaCom Film.
