Mamata Banerjee retains rights to TMC election symbol, says Kunal Ghosh

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Kunal Ghosh has asserted that the party and its official election symbol, the ‘two flowers on grass’, belong exclusively to Mamata Banerjee. The statement comes amid a dispute regarding the party's identity and symbols during upcoming assembly by-elections.

Ghosh noted that MP and lawyer Kalyan Banerjee is leading the legal battle and managing the situation. While the Election Commission has provided a window for the TMC team to present evidence and documents, there are concerns regarding the scrutiny timeline. Ghosh maintained that according to official records, the authority over the All India Trinamool Congress remains with Mamata Banerjee.
