Caribbean Bay man arrested for illegal filming in female changing rooms

A man in his 20s has been arrested for illegally filming women in the changing rooms of Caribbean Bay, a water park in Yongin. The suspect allegedly used a short-haired wig, sunglasses, and a mask to create an androgynous appearance to infiltrate the female facilities.

The incident occurred on two occasions last month. The suspect was caught after a visitor became suspicious of his behavior and a staff member attempted to check his identification, prompting him to flee. Following a 20-day investigation, police apprehended him at his residence in Seoul.

The suspect stated he committed the acts out of curiosity and claimed he did not distribute the footage. Police are currently conducting digital forensics on seized mobile phones and recording equipment to determine the full scale of the crime and whether any videos were shared externally. Two victims have been identified so far, but the number may increase.
