Man arrested in São Paulo for raping daughter and distributing child sexual abuse material

Police in Junqueirópolis, São Paulo state, detained a 32‑year‑old man on allegations of raping his daughter and producing, storing and sharing child sexual exploitation material. The arrest is part of Operation “Silêncio Rompido”, which also uncovered images of animal abuse on the suspect’s phone. Investigators seized two mobile phones; forensic analysis revealed extensive files of child‑sexual abuse, messages soliciting further images, and evidence of the daughter’s abuse. Following a custody hearing, a judge ordered the suspect’s preventive detention and the man was transferred to a specialized prison unit for sexual‑crime offenders.
