Man arrested in Vera, Mato Grosso for sexual exploitation of adolescents

The Civil Police of Mato Grosso executed a preventive arrest warrant on a 52‑year‑old man in the municipality of Vera. Investigators say the suspect used his economic power to lure teenage victims, offering money and benefits in exchange for sexual acts and intimate images. Four adolescents have filed complaints, and bank‑secrecy records show direct transfers to a 13‑year‑old victim. Police seized two cell phones for forensic analysis and uncovered prior indictments against the man in Vera and the neighboring town of Feliz Natal for similar crimes.
