Man detained with RM29,000 worth of heroin, meth and ketamine in Perak, Malaysia

Police from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (JSJN) raided a house in Kampung Teluk Saga, Kampung Gajah, Parit, Perak on Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. The operation seized nine plastic packets of heroin weighing 146.33 g, six packets of methamphetamine weighing 24.70 g, 170 Erimin 5 pills (53.38 g) and 41 cartoon‑printed vape cartridges containing an estimated 360.80 g of ketamine. The total street value of the drugs was reported as RM29,991.50.

In addition, officers confiscated a Proton Waja car, a Honda RS150 motorcycle and cash amounting to RM3,372. The 34‑year‑old male suspect, who has 12 prior drug‑related convictions, tested positive for methamphetamine in a urine screen. He was remanded for seven days, from 7 to 13 August, under Sections 39B and 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Superintendent Hafezul Helmi Hamzah, District Police Chief of Perak Tengah, said, "Keseluruhan dadah yang dirampas bernilai RM29,991.50."
