Man of Tomorrow: New visuals reveal Superman and Lex Luthor

New behind-the-scenes images and artwork have been released for the upcoming DCU film ‘Man of Tomorrow’, directed and written by James Gunn. The visuals provide a closer look at the film’s central characters, including Superman, played by David Corenswet, Lois Lane, played by Rachel Brosnahan, and Lex Luthor, played by Nicholas Hoult.

One set of images focuses on the leads, while separate artwork shared by camera operator Chris McGuire features a retro, vintage comic-book aesthetic reminiscent of a Daily Planet cover. The film is expected to feature a team-up between the rivals Superman and Lex Luthor as they face the threat of Brainiac, portrayed by Lars Eidinger.

Principal photography for the project concluded in August 2026, and the film is currently in post-production. ‘Man of Tomorrow’ is scheduled for theatrical release on July 9, 2027.
