Argentina infrastructure: Regional updates on water, roads, and urban works

Various infrastructure and public works projects are underway across Argentina. In Buenos Aires Province, the government has awarded approximately $59.1 billion pesos for Stage III of the Arroyo Dupuy basin drainage works, aimed at benefiting 15 neighborhoods. In the City of Buenos Aires, authorities are reinforcing the hydraulic system with over 60 completed and 14 ongoing drainage works to mitigate flooding risks associated with the El Niño phenomenon.

In the south, Ushuaia is executing multiple projects including road paving, drainage improvements, and urban beautification. Meanwhile, in Tierra del Fuego, over $29 billion pesos have been approved for a new solid waste management center in Porvenir to serve the local communes.

Other regional developments include the inauguration of 800 meters of new pavement in Monterrico, Jujuy, and ongoing urban maintenance in Río Grande, Saladillo, and Villa La Angostura. Additionally, discussions continue regarding the Corredor Norpatagónico railway project to support Vaca Muerta's logistics, potentially backed by United States financial cooperation.
