Man sentenced to 61 years for feminicide in Teziutlán

Sesar Senén N., 51, has been sentenced to 61 years and three months in prison for the feminicide and disappearance of a 27-year-old woman in Teziutlán, Puebla.

The crime occurred on April 24, 2024, at a food establishment in the center of Teziutlán where the victim worked for the defendant. According to the Puebla State Attorney General's Office (FGE), Senén N. held the woman against her will, killed her, and dismembered her body. He placed the remains in plastic bags and used a container to move them to a public area in an attempt to conceal the crime.

The court imposed a 45-year sentence for feminicide and an additional 16 years and three months for crimes related to the disappearance of persons. The defendant was also ordered to pay economic fines, while the rights of the indirect victims to seek full reparations remain protected for future legal phases.
