Various legal and criminal incidents involving road safety and public welfare have been reported across Australia and the United Kingdom.
In Tasmania, Grant Andrew Crawford was sentenced in the Supreme Court for a 2023 crash that killed Malaysian tourist Retnakumar Kuppusami and seriously injured Suresh Rajakumar. Crawford, a serial offender, drove a stolen vehicle through a work site before colliding with a group of motorcyclists.
