MAN Truck & Bus deploys five electric eTGX trucks for cross‑border factory logistics
MAN Truck & Bus has handed over five fully electric MAN eTGX semi‑trailer tractors to logistics partner JS Logistics for use in the company's inbound factory logistics. The trucks will operate on cross‑border routes between the MAN plant in Munich, Germany, and supplier sites in Lébény and Győr, Hungary, covering distances of about 520 km per trip.
JS Logistics will run the eTGX on direct full‑truck‑load shipments and on consolidated transports via a hub in Kirkel, Germany, serving additional deliveries from France, Spain/Portugal and the UK/Ireland to MAN's German plants. The deployment is part of MAN’s broader program to decarbonise its logistics network, aiming for around 50 electric trucks in operation by mid‑2026 and expanded charging infrastructure at its sites.
