Mana Ashida to star in Japanese remake of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’

The Japanese remake of the Netflix series ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’, titled ‘Minamida Min Lawyer is a Genius’, has announced its additional cast members. Starring Mana Ashida as Minamida Min, a rookie lawyer with autism spectrum disorder, the drama will premiere on October 19 on Kantele and Fuji TV.

The newly announced cast includes Kauta Hosoda as Takuma Himi, Shiori Kubo as Koharu Asahi, Rinka Kakihara as Riri Madoka, Sakura Takeuchi as Kaede Tsuchimura, Makiya Yamaguchi as Kengo Miyaji, and Kami Hiraiwa as Nagisa Hirokawa. The series follows Minamida as she navigates the legal profession and social challenges using her unique perspectives.

In addition to the cast announcement, production has released first scene photos depicting the protagonist's first day at the law firm and her interactions with her father and colleagues. The series will be available for streaming on Netflix following its broadcast.
