Managem reports significant profit surge in H1 2026
Moroccan mining company Managem reported a significant surge in financial performance for the first half of 2026. Consolidated revenue reached 11.76 billion dirhams, representing a 166% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
This growth was primarily driven by the successful integration of two new mines: Tizert in Morocco and Boto in Senegal. Additionally, rising market prices for precious metals, including gold, silver, and copper, contributed to the upward trend. The company's EBITDA rose by over 300% to 6.19 billion dirhams, improving its operating margin to 53%.
Despite the overall success, the company noted some operational challenges. Production levels for silver at Imiter and gold at Tri-K saw declines due to operational difficulties during the semester. The net profit attributable to the group reached approximately 3.77 billion dirhams, a substantial increase from 380 million dirhams a year earlier.
