Governor Roberto Cidade inspected ongoing revitalization projects at two major health facilities in Manaus: the SPA Eliameme Rodrigues Mady and the Dr. Heitor Vieira Dourado Tropical Medicine Foundation (FMT-HVD).

At the SPA Eliameme Rodrigues Mady, located in the Monte das Oliveiras neighborhood, works include improvements to X-ray areas, consulting rooms, bathrooms, and administrative sectors. The facility, which handles an average of 500 daily appointments—70% of which are related to primary care—will also see its Emergency Room capacity expanded by the addition of one new bed. Physical upgrades include painting, wall repairs, lighting replacement, and new furniture.

Accompanied by State Health Secretary Luis Alberto Saraiva, Cidade emphasized that these interventions aim to provide better service conditions, particularly for residents in Manaus's North Zone. The Secretary noted that the state is monitoring the progress to ensure infrastructure improvements do not compromise ongoing patient care.
