Manaus Industrial Pole reports R$ 142.9 billion in revenue through July

The Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) reported a revenue of R$ 142.98 billion (approximately US$ 27.71 billion) through July. The industrial hub maintained a strong labor market, averaging 131,197 direct jobs monthly between January and July, with total employment reaching 132,596 in July alone.

Key revenue contributors include computer goods (21.86%), two-wheel vehicles (19.77%), and electronics (15.43%). Notable growth sectors include toys (46.97%) and beverages (37.07%). Production figures show significant output in motorcycles, mobile phones, and microwave ovens.

Complementing this growth, Novamed, a company under the EMS Group, announced an investment of over R$ 300 million to expand its factory in Manaus and establish a new Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) Center. Supported by R$ 27.5 million in financing from BNDES, the expansion aims to reach a production capacity of up to 2.5 billion tablets per month and integrate scientific research with industrial scale.
