Manaus man arrested for 2007 robbery and rape

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in the Tarumã neighborhood of Manaus for crimes committed in 2007. The individual was sentenced to more than 50 years in prison for robbery resulting in death and rape.

According to police reports, the crime occurred on October 31, 2007, when the suspect and two accomplices entered a residence through the roof. The victim was raped and killed with a knife and a hammer during the robbery. The suspect also faces charges related to the rape of a vulnerable person.
