Manaus municipal agencies announce new public service recruitment

Public service recruitment is underway in Manaus, Brazil, with two major selection processes announced for municipal agencies.

The Municipal Finance Secretariat (Semef) is offering 20 immediate vacancies and a reserve list for the position of Municipal Tax Auditor. The role offers an initial monthly salary of R$ 27,270.61 for a 30-hour work week. Candidates with a degree in any field can apply through the Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC) website until August 27, 2026. The selection process includes objective and discursive exams, as well as a background check.

Additionally, ManausPrev, the city's social security agency, is expected to release an official notice for 17 vacancies. These positions include Social Security Technicians (high school level) and Social Security Analysts (higher education level) in areas such as administration, auditing, IT, and accounting. Analyst salaries can reach up to R$ 8,810.50 for a 40-hour work week. The FCC is also managing this selection process.
