Manchester mayoral poll shows Labour's Bev Craig poised to win
A FindOutNow poll of 1,505 Greater Manchester residents predicts Labour candidate Bev Craig will win the mayoral by‑election on 30 July. The survey gives Labour 38 % of first‑preference votes and, after the supplementary‑vote second‑choice redistribution, a 64 % share, comfortably ahead of Green Party candidate Geraldine Coggins (22 % first‑preference, 36 % after redistribution) and Reform UK’s Sian Astley (19 %). Other parties trail with single‑digit support. The poll suggests Labour will retain the mayoralty previously held by Andy Burnham with a large margin.
