Manchester United attracts Middle Eastern interest and scouts Dortmund players

Manchester United has drawn interest from various Middle Eastern investment groups over the past 12 months, according to journalist Ben Jacobs. Groups from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates have reportedly expressed interest in the club. While Saudi Arabian private investors have explored pooling capital, no formal offer has been made. Interest from a United Arab Emirates group was described as more concrete, though it also did not result in an official bid. These developments occur amid ongoing uncertainty regarding the long-term ownership structure between the Glazer family and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

In terms of squad reinforcement, Manchester United is reportedly monitoring four players from Borussia Dortmund: Serhou Guirassy, Jude Bellingham, Felix Nmecha, and Daniel Svensson. Scouts were observed attending a recent Dortmund match to evaluate these targets. While Guirassy, Bellingham, and Nmecha are long-term interests, their high market values may complicate potential transfers. The club appears to be viewing 24-year-old left-back Daniel Svensson as a more immediate possibility for strengthening the defense during the summer transfer window.
