Manchester United eyes World Cup standouts Ismaila Sarr and Crysencio Summerville
Manchester United have moved to sign winger Ismaila Sarr after his impressive showing for Senegal at the 2026 World Cup, where he scored four goals and added an assist before Senegal exited the tournament. The club sees Sarr’s versatility, having also played as a central striker, as a fit for the Red Devils' attacking needs.
The club is also in direct talks with West Ham United about Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville, who highlighted his talent at the World Cup with two goals and two assists for the Netherlands. Summerville, 24, attracted interest after a strong Premier League season, but West Ham have set a asking price of at least £50 million. Manchester United’s pursuit of both players could be affected by the possible sale of Marcus Rashford, which would free up funds for new signings.
