Manchester United pursue Crystal Palace forward Ismaila Sarr

Manchester United have opened formal enquiries about signing Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr for the 2026‑27 summer window. The 28‑year‑old Senegal international finished the 2025‑26 season with 21 goals in all competitions, including nine in the UEFA Europa Conference League, helping Palace win the tournament.

Sarr publicly declared United his “only dream club”, saying “I love Manchester United with all my heart”. He remains under a three‑year contract with Palace, who are expected to demand a fee well above his £34‑50 million market value. United, who already have Benjamin Sesko up front, are looking to add depth after the anticipated departures of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. The club’s recruitment team has listed Sarr among several attacking targets, though he is not described as an immediate priority.

Palace’s willingness to sell is uncertain; the player’s versatility – able to operate on either flank or centrally – makes him an attractive option for United, but the Eagles are unlikely to part with one of their most influential contributors without a substantial offer.
