Manchester United eye Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville as Rashford replacement
Manchester United have identified West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville as their primary target should Marcus Rashford depart. The 24‑year‑old, who impressed for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup, is expected to cost around £30 million after West Ham’s relegation to the Championship.
Rashford, currently on the club’s payroll at £17.5 million per year and with two years left on his contract, returned from loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona but remains on a tenuous truce with United. The club prefers to off‑load him to ease its wage bill while it rebuilds the squad after recent signings totalling £82 million.
Other clubs have shown interest in Summerville. Roma have prepared a €45 million offer, and Aston Villa are monitoring the situation. Separate speculation linking Rashford with Turkish side Fenerbahçe was dismissed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed there are no talks.
