Manchester United targets Real Betis striker Troy Parrott
Manchester United is exploring options to strengthen its attacking lineup ahead of the January transfer window, with Real Betis forward Troy Parrott identified as a primary target. The club is reportedly preparing a formal offer of approximately 30 million euros to convince the Spanish side to sell the 24-year-old striker mid-season.
United's interest follows a difficult start to the season, characterized by a lack of consistent goalscoring and injuries to senior striker Benjamin Sesko. The move is also linked to the potential departure of Joshua Zirkzee, which would help the club manage its wage bill.
While Parrott recently joined Real Betis with a contract running until 2031, Manchester United scouts are expected to monitor his upcoming performances in Spain to finalize their approach. Although not an undisputed starter under Manuel Pellegrini, Parrott has contributed a goal and an assist in his initial La Liga appearances.
