Manchester United interest in Troy Parrott

Overview

Manchester United has identified Real Betis striker Troy Parrott as a primary target to strengthen its attacking lineup. The club is reportedly preparing a formal offer of approximately 30 million euros to secure the 24-year-old mid-season, driven by a lack of consistent goalscoring and injuries to Benjamin Sesko.

Real Betis has previously rejected interest from Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, regarding a January transfer. The Spanish club maintains a strong negotiating position because Parrott is under contract until 2031 and possesses a €100 million release clause. While Manchester United continues to monitor his performances, a mid-season move remains a point of contention between the clubs.
