Mandiana: Woman fatally stabbed by former fiancé

A woman, identified as Sogbé Diallo, was fatally stabbed in Kantoumanina, located in the Mandiana prefecture, on September 7. According to her brother, the attack was an ambush carried out by her former fiancé.

The victim's family stated that the two had previously been engaged due to a child they shared, but the marriage plans were recently canceled after the man insulted the family. The suspect allegedly attacked the victim and her sisters while they were traveling to an artisanal mine. The suspect fled the scene following the incident, and an investigation has been opened by authorities to locate him. The victim's body was taken to the Mandiana prefectural hospital morgue for an autopsy.
