Mangmi launches Air Y and Air Y Pro vertical Android gaming handhelds

Mangmi announced its first vertical Android gaming handhelds, the Air Y and the Air Y Pro, slated for release in 2026. Both devices feature a portrait-shaped design, Qualcomm processors and a range of physical controls, including a directional pad, face buttons and a single analog stick on the standard model, with the Pro adding a second stick for twin‑stick gameplay.

The Air Y comes in black with an RGB‑lit stick and a front‑facing speaker grille, while the Air Y Pro is white with burgundy buttons, dual RGB sticks and no speaker grille. Details such as the exact Snapdragon chip, display resolution, battery capacity, RAM, storage and pricing have not been disclosed, but Mangmi said full specifications and pricing will be revealed later this month, with pre‑orders expected to begin on July 30. The handhelds will compete with other compact Android gaming devices such as the TrimUI Brick Pro and the upcoming AYANEO Konkr Pocket Block.
