Manikganj bus stand cocktail explosion causes panic

A cocktail explosion occurred under an overpass at the Manikganj bus stand on the Dhaka-Aricha highway on Saturday night. The blast, which took place around 9:20 PM, caused panic among passengers and local residents, though no casualties were reported.

Authorities believe the perpetrator may have fled the scene on a motorcycle. Police have deployed personnel to the area and are currently analyzing CCTV footage to identify those involved. This incident follows previous cocktail explosions in the Manikganj bus stand area and near the residence of the district judge in late 2024.
