Turkey launches multiple international cultural festivals this summer

Several Turkish municipalities have opened major international cultural festivals. İnegöl’s 39th International Culture and Art Festival ran from 13‑19 July, featuring a parade, gala night and more than 260 folk dancers from ten countries. Bursa’s 64th International Festival, held 21 July‑10 August, presented concerts by Turkish tenors, performances in historic venues and special programmes for children. In Van, the Culture‑Road Festival showcased traditional crafts and workshops, including silversmithing and needle‑lace demonstrations. Manisa’s Adala Hermos Cultural Festival in Salihli combined a city‑wide parade with folk groups from Kazakhstan, Kosovo and North Macedonia and a headline concert by singer Onur Akın. The International Horon and Music Festival in Trabzon concluded with three days of performances by ensembles from Azerbaijan, Russia, Italy, Iran and other nations, emphasizing friendship and cultural exchange. All events aim to promote tourism, preserve heritage and foster international cultural dialogue across Turkey.
