Manisa begins hot‑asphalt paving on Saruhanlı’s 7 September Street

Hot‑asphalt paving has started on the newly upgraded 7 September Street in the Saruhanlı district of Manisa, Turkey, following a complete renewal of the water, sewage and storm‑water pipelines beneath the road.

The Manisa Metropolitan Municipality will lay an initial 4,000 tonnes of hot asphalt, with a total of roughly 10,000 tonnes planned for the full project. The work is coordinated by the Manisa Water and Sewerage Administration (MASKİ) and was inspected by Mayor Besim Dutlulu, who said the street will become “a modern example for Manisa”.
