Turkey reports multiple fatal and serious traffic accidents

Multiple serious traffic accidents have been reported across various regions in Turkey, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.

In Manisa, a fatal collision occurred on the Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Highway when a timber-laden truck struck a tour bus that had performed a reversing maneuver. The accident resulted in 12 deaths and 26 injuries. Two drivers have been arrested following the incident.

In Gaziantep, two separate accidents in the Nurdağı district left 21 people injured, including nine in a car collision and 12 in a truck rollover. In Sivas, a prison transfer vehicle overturned in the İmranlı district, injuring seven people.

Other incidents include a collision in Çorum that injured seven people and caused one vehicle to catch fire, and an accident in Trabzon where a car plunged 7 meters down a retaining wall into a stream bed, injuring five people.
