Manisa launches vocational training for assistant pharmacists

The Manisa Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the Manisa Chamber of Pharmacists have signed a protocol to launch a vocational training program for 20 participants in the assistant pharmacist profession.

The program aims to help new pharmacists develop professional knowledge and experience in a real working environment, support assistant pharmacy processes, and meet the demand for qualified human resources in pharmacies. The course is scheduled to run from September 1, 2026, to February 18, 2027.

To encourage participation, financial supports have been increased. Necessary expense payments for trainees will be 30 percent higher than the standard rate, and instructor fees have also been raised to incentivize expert pharmacists to participate in the training process.
