Manisa Police Seize 1,803 Synthetic Drug Pills from Motorcycle Courier

Turkish Narcotics Police in Manisa halted a 36‑year‑old courier riding a motorcycle in the Yeni Mahalle neighborhood. During a search of the bike’s seat and luggage compartments, officers discovered 32 boxes containing a total of 1,803 synthetic ecza pills ready for distribution. The suspect was detained on the spot, charged with manufacturing and trafficking narcotics, and transferred to a detention facility pending trial. Authorities said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb drug supply and protect public health.

The police emphasized continued vigilance against drug couriers using motorcycles to evade detection, noting that the seizure prevents a substantial amount of illicit substances from reaching the market.
