Manjinder Singh Sirsa praises Andhra Pradesh teacher recruitment
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has commended Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh for the transparent and successful conduct of the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment process. During a meeting at the Amaravati Secretariat, Sirsa praised the recruitment of over 16,000 teachers, noting that such large-scale hiring is often hindered by litigation and confusion in other regions like Delhi.
Minister Nara Lokesh explained that the success was due to meticulous planning and the integration of technology. He stated that despite allegations from opposition parties, no irregularities have been proven in court. Lokesh also announced plans to fill an additional 3,000 teacher positions soon and highlighted the introduction of the ‘LEAP’ app to monitor teachers.
Sirsa further praised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership and the state's industrial and governance reforms, suggesting that Andhra Pradesh is providing a roadmap for the rest of the country through its data-driven governance and PPP models.
