Manning Award names eight college football Stars of the Week

Eight quarterbacks have been named Manning Award Stars of the Week for their performances during Week 3 of the college football season.

Notable honorees include Kentucky’s Kenny Minchey, who led the Wildcats to a 31-21 upset victory over No. 9 Texas A&M, and Ole Miss’ Trinidad Chambliss, who threw two touchdown passes in a win against No. 7 LSU. Cal’s Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele also earned recognition after recording a career-high 413 passing yards and three touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Wagner.

Other recipients include Miami’s Darian Mensah, who set school and ACC records with 24 consecutive completions; TCU’s Jaden Craig; Toledo’s John Alan Richter; Wisconsin’s Colton Joseph; and Washington’s Demond Williams Jr.
