Mansukh Mandaviya leads Fit India cycling event in Gujarat
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya led the 85th edition of the 'Fit India Sundays on Cycle' event in Hanol, Gujarat. Held under the theme 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan,' the initiative focuses on promoting fitness while campaigning against drug addiction.
Participants at the Gujarat event took an anti-drug oath before completing a 6.2-kilometer cycling route. The program included community activities such as dance sessions, Garba, and various games including volleyball, chess, and badminton.
Simultaneously, a mega event was held in Delhi at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. Participants engaged in yoga and Zumba before a 5-kilometer cycle around India Gate and Kartavya Path. The initiative, which has seen over 30 lakh participants since its start in December 2024, aims to integrate fitness and drug-free living into a nationwide movement.
