Manuel Adorni retains official vehicle and security after leaving office
Former Chief of Staff Manuel Adorni continues to use an official Toyota SW4 vehicle and maintains federal security protection nearly three months after leaving his position on June 27. The vehicle, a 2022 model, belongs to the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (Inprotur) and was assigned to the Chief of Staff's office during the administration of Guillermo Francos.
Official sources indicate that while the vehicle was intended for official transfers of the office holder and their entourage, it remains under the administration of the Chief of Staff's office despite Adorni's departure. His successor, Diego Santilli, has not used the vehicle.
Simultaneously, Adorni faces a judicial deadline to explain the evolution of his assets as part of an investigation into alleged illicit enrichment. Reports also highlight that the vehicle has accumulated over 50 traffic violations, primarily for speeding, totaling more than 10 million pesos in fines across the City and Province of Buenos Aires.
